Adeliza Stilettimano
Return to WENCHES
I did travel the world in search of adventure,
dancing for coin as the need did arise,
but as you will see I need no protection...
I am skilled with a "blade" regardless of size.

Merhaba wa Alikum Salaam.  I was born in the city of Istanbul, the first daughter of my father's only wife.  Nasir, a wealthy merchant recently returned from Durazzo, had fallen in love with my mother Beatrice, the daughter of grace and beauty, and made her his wife.
Upon my sixteenth summer, I was promised in marriage to my father's friend when suddenly my mother became very ill and her light was extinguished from this world.  Having lost so great a treasure, Nasir could not stand to part with me and we did travel the dusty roads until the day he did join her in heaven.  Afterwards I did marry his friend, a merchant of saddles and leather goods. As a wedding gift I was given a beautiful dagger with which to protect myself during travel.  However my husband died shortly after, having pricked his hand on that very knife which happened to be poisoned.  My second husband traded in fine cloth and silks.  During a private argument, he accidentally sat on a cushion where my dagger was lying; I became a trader of fine silks in his place.  My third husband was Caravan leader.  My heart was as light as a flight of birds, until the day we were attacked by marauders and all was lost.  My poor husband was struck down and I awoke on a ship bound for Italy, the land of my mother's people.

As I did know only the life of the road and possess many skills (as well as a useful dagger), I did find a place with Brianna and her wenches and they are now my sisters.  I spend my days dancing for coin and serving refreshment to the weary traveler (such as I once was), and perhaps...finding my next husband.
