Enclosure.

This is the rear cockpit enclosure as supplied from Kolb...works really well! Attachs with Velcro and lets in no drafts hardly at all.

BELOW are more pics of the extra 4130 tubing I have added to facilitate the covering of the rear, upper half of the cage. Since Kolb means for this to be open, there is nothing on the cage to wrap fabric around, hence these additions.

above the red arrows point to added 1/4" dia x .028 4130 , and the bracket for the Camlocs that will hold down the new gap cover.

Here is a view from the bottom left side rear..The 4130 hoop is welded to the exsisting cage..and the tabs enable the attachment of 6061 alum tubing for the underside streamlining structure. This will cover the aileron control tube, and be open to the rear (right) of the hoop

And Below is the Fuel Tank access door I am working on. It will be hinged at the top and held closed by Camlocs.

A shot from the rear right..shows access door and root extension to close the bottom of the wing/cage gap.

And...here it is after the first sprayed coat of color.
