The usage of the word cult below is used as a meaning found in the wiki dictionary and is correct so dont say anything about it even if its friendly criticism! The word flam as used below is often used as an internet term that means to insult, patranize, or harras. I know my rights and no threats will be considered given a second though and most likely wont even be read so dont waste your time! Please do not read below if you are easily offended and/or angered! Why do some refuse to consider an almighty being? These questions are among many to breach the human mind. Religion is a system of beliefs often derived to explain existance and to remove the fear of death.Since all religions explain creation and all religions claim some form of after life this is solid ground to start on. When thinking of the human psyche we think the mind and the person as a whole but in order to truely understand things you must think much deeper parts normaly people wouldnt think about. When considering who a person is and who they will be you must consider there surroundings who they are now and have been in the past and how they react to stimuli. For the most part of what man does understand the driving forces behind a persons "soul" are varios forms of stimuli and genetic makeup. But religion often refers who a person is as a "soul" by this i mean most religions think a persons soul is who they are and that they are born with their "raw" personality already defined and molded later on. Lets assume one religion is true take christianity for example (since i know more about it this is the best choice for this article.) In the general christian belief there is one god (interpretations vary two gods is technicaly correct) and this one god created all and watches all. Christians believe this god listens to all prayer and answeres prayer. All is believed to be his will but yet (one of many contradictions in this religion) you half to obey god for him to use you and sometimes you need not try to to be used. Although in the bible there has been 10 rules set by "god" (no proof these are gods rules) although these are the only rules god asked of as of that day christians still are exspected by christian peers to follow rules not stated in those supreme comandments. This is another contradiction within the mainstream christian belief system. In branches of the christian belief system are the cults (these are just two examples of religions which contradict modern beliefs and have come to fit the description of a cult) (just to name two) catholoism and mormanism these branches are often criticised and laughed upon because of their rediculous and sometimes unorthadox traditions and beliefs. One example (not specifing either of these follows this) is that wemon may only wear dresses. Where does this come from again mans instincts come into play a man is naturaly going to seek dominance over a female for he often feels superior. However today many have overcome this instinctive want for dominance and actualy like to be dominated more this is often to make them feel more secure much like a religion. Another often refered to as unorthadox practice by some branches of christianity is that one should go and try to bring others into their religion this is often practiced by mormanism and is done in the morning to mid day when people who go about as "normal" people are often asleep because this is widely practiced on sundays when many are tired from staying up late on saturday or other things such as group gatherings where much energy is exspended. People woken by the mormans ringing at their door have refered to mormans as nuisances among other things and have even taken measures to stop them from coming again and even just ignoring there arrival. These examples are just some of many i could have mentioned.
