Why should you read any of it? Well, the web is a huge waste of time. Nothing can really be done in just a few minutes, no matter how fast your connection is. Add to that the numerous blind alleys one encounters when looking for anything which is not immediately obvious. Searches for "vanity counters," yield results including pages about Star Jones or accounting firms. Potentially useful pages turn out to be long gone, replaced by a blog about marmots. So we at Daft Observer say, why pretend that you have web access for serious research purposes? The web is a time sink, so let your pretenses go down the drain.
