About Me
Born in a log cabin hospital in the wilds of Maine, I grew up a child of non-divorce. I had a full-time, stay-at-home mom. This is partially responsible for my extremely warped world view.
I grew up in a simpler time, a time when there were no pocket cell phones. It was a time when kids rode their bikes on and off road without helmets or pads and no one seemed concerned. It was a time when we were not at all worried about whether we could count on Social Security because we had complete faith in our government's policies. Thanks to "Mutually Assured Destruction," we were confident that a global thermonuclear war would annihilate all life on earth long before any of us reached retirement age. I often look back fondly on those long ago days when life was so simple and full of promise.
Due to a life-long healthy and happy relationship with my parents, I have no one to blame any bad luck or personal failings on. This, too, contributes to my apparently unique perspective on the world. In what any psychiatrist will tell you is a classic sign of severe mental illness, I consider myself to be "normal," regardless of all the evidence indicating that I am much, much better than everyone else.
Despite my obvious low self-esteem problem, I have decided to share my worthless musings on life with all the right-thinking, virtuous, intelligent people out there in cyberspace. Both of you.
