On August 17, 2000, Andre, the boy next door, was standing outside my house with a little gray thing in his hand. At first I thought he had a mouse, but after I ran down to take a closer look, I discovered he was holding a little wee kitten.

Andre explained that one of his friends had a cat with a litter of 10 kittens. He managed to take this one kitten before the rest of them went to a petstore. When he brought the kitten home, his mother told him he could not keep it. In desperation, he asked if I wanted it (my sucker light was flashing). I immediately took the kitten and placed it in a huge cardboard box. The only way I could convince my husband in keeping the kitten was to tell him I plan to foster it until a suitable home was found.

Well it didn�t take long for her to prove that she wanted to be in this home! Destiny became instant friends with gray cat,

but it took Daffney just a few days more to adjust to the new addition. Before we knew it, they became buddies too!

Looks like a keeper! Jerry and I purchased a silver Corvette Stingray ten days before this silver kitten came into our lives, so we thought Little Silver Stingray (LSS) would be appropriate. Her official name is Lil�Stingray.
