Wee... Tomb Raider, starring Angelina Jolie as the gun shooting hottie from the game... Umm... Yeah.

Anyway, it took me forever to find a soda machine that wasn't $1.25 for a 20oz soda.... Cause I only had $1.15... You know you got it bad when you're scouting the ground for nickels and dimes.

Okay. The movie starts out as Lara Croft and a team are close to finding some ancient city that's been lost for years. It's supposed to be under the water. Using old maps and new computers, they find the ancient city, which was constructed by the Greeks. It's got ancient artifacts that would make anybody rich.

They do get inside, quite easily, and it turns out that other people were following her inside, looking for something. Lara snatches a medallion and the glowy ball from the previews inside, but she soon loses it to guys with spearguns. Owee. It turns out that the orb is a map to finding the "Cradle of Life" which in some story, is where supposedly all life was created.

And also, it's where death was unleashed. Pandora's box is there, and a bad guy who specializes in biohazardous bombs wants it. When Pandora's box was first opened, it unleashed a plauge that killed millions. That was what the story said, anyway.

It's a pretty good movie, and the whole thing isn't constantly guns shooting, so you at least look forward to it then roll your eyes and mutter "here we go again..." There's no incredible stunts in this movie, but a couple times, you can tell when Angelina was assisted by ropes or cables. You can't see them, but no one could move that gracefully.

The end area confused me, cause it's this huge cave with a bunch of tunnels, and... I don't know if Lara was hanging from the wall of if there was no gravity, cause she'd be upside down on the side of a wall hiding from the guy who's trying to kill her. Even though they've gotten plenty of chance to blow her away. The evil people tend to enjoy exotic deaths I suppose...

It was enjoyable, and most of the story flows along smoothly, though a couple times I wondered how they got somewhere... Or why they were there... Then it came to me.

When I was looking at Yahoo! a couple days ago, a Korn music video was out, titled "Did My Time" and it showed scenes from Tomb Raider 2 in it, but I never heard the song in the movie. Umm... If you're a fan of Korn, take a look at the video, since the song isn't released yet.
