Bad boys, bad boys. Whatcha gonna do? Blow stuff up.

So what if I saw this movie nearly a month after it came out? It was the only thing worth watching that I hadn't seen or was interested in seeing. I heard that Pirates of the Carribean was good, but I'm not into the whole pirate thing. None at all. Soo... Off to BBII.

The beginning of the movie was promising, with a bunch of camera effects, but not to the point of overkill. Mike and Marcus from the previous movie are still the heroes, though in this one they're slowly drifting away and are fighting and yelling at each other.

Most of the movie is a lot of action. And I mean a LOT. This movie is nearly as long as Lord of the Rings. Just under 2 and a half hours. But just because it's long, it doesn't make the movie suffer. It fits a lot of story in there. Most of the story IS gun action and a couple car chases, but it's a thrill. And it's rated R for a reason. When the bullets blast someone in the head, they'll show it. Even when a guy lands on a mind, it'll have the body blow in half, or the skin rip open like paper to a bullet. Some of the movie might make you queasy if you don't like that sort of thing.

A bunch of the movie is about going after drugs, just to set the record straight. There's a large supplier of ecstacy and they're after him. Gotta go through hell just to get him, though. Since he's so good, he manages to not directly involve himself in the drug deals. He's been brought in 9 times to court, and sued for false arrest. And won.

There were a couple things that bugged me in this movie, but I didn't pay much attention to it. Example. Marcus's house, (Marcus played by Martin Lawrence, Mike by Will Smith) is HUGE. He's a friggin narcotics officer, and he has a mansion. Not the hugest mansion, but big and fancy enough. Hell, even the pool was $3,900... The others I can't remember, so they must not have been that big of a deal.

This, to me, was an excellent movie, much better than the 1st. Loaded with action and some comedy, it's enough to keep you interested.

This movie is rated R for language, violence, drug use, sexuality, and breif nudity.

The nudity was a dead chick, so don't get your hopes (and other things) up...
