Game Party, September 19, 2004

These are the events that transpired on September 19, between 12:00 pm and 10:00 pm within the Don Enrique subdivision. The photographs you will see are very graphic. Viewer discretion is advised.

These are the people who are foolhardy enough to join the party. Clockwise from the top, with the cap: Mark Garcia, Santino Beltran, Carlos Montecillo, Sherwin Palad, Jason Docallos, Jason Gruspe, Diandrew Dy, and JB Espiritu. Not shown: ME! They are playing a cutthroat game of Bang!, a card game for four to seven wannabe spaghetti-western cowboys. You may think they are smiling, but this is business, my friends. SERIOUS business.

Mark plays a Bang! card against someone in the table (you can't really tell who's gonna get hurt every turn). Carlos eyes him with suspicion ("Is that a card under his cap?"). Obscured on the right by the Gruspe: Docallos plays the Sheriff.

That shiny black hair covering the better part of the picture: Yep, me. This would be a small game now, four players. The two FERN accountants comment as Sherwin and I draw blood. My god, Dy! I can see your hand! At the back: the two Jasons duel on the classic game of Magic: the-Richard-Garfield-cashcow-for-ten-years-now.

Dy's turn to make a statement. Well, hi-dee-ho. He happens to be the sheriff. "Boys, I ain't got no trouble in this town 'til you came. Your asses are mine!" Sure. Whatever you say, chief.

My god, there are so many pictures of DY!!! This time, the rules lawyer that he is tells the table "maybe the Volcanic counts with the one gun limit of each player. It's just too unfair to have a Volcanic and another gun!" Guess what, he's right.

Mark and Carlos grins for the camera. But that's just a show. They were holding each other's neck a while ago.
