America, the bright shining light, and the end of capitalism

  by Adam Pickett (2008.11.07)

The victory on Tuesday night was not for Barack H. Obama, nor had it been for Presidents in past history; it was a victory for diversity.  Despite the fatigue of rhetoric, the results of the election reflect that we are still wary of special interests.  And regardless of president-elect Obama’s intentions when sometimes practically reading out of a Communist’s play book to get elected, the seeds of Marxism are being planted.  There were a lot of promises made just to be broken.
The alternative of a vacillating war-torn 72-year-old John S. McCain, given his history of cancer, the exploitation of the inexperienced V.P. candidate, Sarah Palin, and the narrow-minded allegations made by the RNC in negative campaign ads wore down the GOP.  The Republican Party lost the race for the White House, numerous positions in the legislative branch, and even more conservative principles.  And all for sore losers to blame Sarah Palin.
In media, in schools, and now in most facets of government, indoctrination is at an all-time high.  The grasp of tradition is getting harder to keep as political pressures make life harder for free-thinking people.  Protests over the passing of Proposition 8 in California, the push for nationalization of banking institutions, and the ignorance of detail show too many people are taking easy roads, and too few are reading between the lines.  Arguments may be becoming unpopular.
Too many roads we face are misleading this country, and the failures in responsibility make it harder to find organizations and institutions that aren’t already being pressured by other organizations and institutions.  Emotional thinking, dependencies and corruption continue to take down financial institutions, mortgage industries, companies and banks, as mounted insurance chains get pulled.  Incompetency washes everything away, as individuals don’t know where to turn.
With the failures of George W. Bush and inability of the Grand Old Pall of Ronald Reagan to recover, Obama made great stride in the election, but somebody is going to have to fill Obama’s empty platitudes of hope and change.  If history tells us anything, government cannot be trusted to make anything work when the system leads it to become evermore so incompetent; the strengths of peoples have turned away from support of the system, for many to elect a reflection of themselves.
Blame is easily cast on America, as more socialism spreads throughout financial systems in the world as some “cure” to a global recession, when indoctrination of interdependency is still the problem all along.  The media eat up the indoctrination like never before, and all with excuses of loss: “King Henry” was splashed on a cover of Newsweek, all for Newsweek to practically applaud Henry Paulson’s unelected reign of the federal government.  Newspapers and magazines are in decline.
The tools of opportunism align doubt with destruction, put money over life, and push criticism of ideas to the point of being unconscionable; race baiting, status-quo in times of crisis, and so-called fairness are tools for those who wish to get ahead, regardless of any working order.  The political machine’s plight in the media landscape continues to misinform, as hard questions become unquestionable, and people turn off.  Turning points are hard to see for those that are blinded.
With unrelenting claims of, “the surge worked,” and “Reagan was responsible for ending communism,” the delusions of a few Republicans have blind sighted the base.  Communism and socialism are alive and well, and with the mark of socialism cast on Obama, true or not, real communists and soft Marxists around the world have marked his elected position as the eventual end of capitalism.  However seemingly-bad, long-term prospects show that all isms eventually do fail.
Even though the United States is never free of people misled, this country has lasted over 220 years with the ideals gained from the formalities proposed by our founding fathers.  Although the Bill of Rights was intended primarily to protect capitalists from the tyranny of England, domestically and abroad, we’re tested throughout time against many enemies of personal responsibility.  In the eye of a perfect storm, we now face the enemy of opportunism head-on.
