He has not had any formal training but has great bird sense,a nd site points well. He does need some basic obedience training that can be done by most anyone. But what Steele needs is someone with the time and energy to spend with him and excercise him regularly. He has been primarly an outdoor kennel dog since the age of 6 months or so but before that he was an indoor dog and did just fine inside.
Steele comes from a line of dogs from southern Kentucky. His family and littermates are AKC registered dogs.
