| Da-DJ's Background Our music career began back in 1973, when our parents converted an old farm house to a "clubhouse" for us to have parties in. We ripped out all of the walls and made the building into two rooms, complete with air conditioning, heat, carpet, telephone, and a 60 watt pioneer sound system, of which we thought we had the most awesome sound system in the world at that time, but compared to now it would be like comparing an 8 track tape to a CD. We started having parties almost every weekend, sometimes with crowds in excess of 100 people. For some strange reason some of our friend's parents would not let their children attend our parties,(I wonder why...haha) So we were asked if it were possible to move our sound equipment elsewhere so that our friends who wanted to have a party, could do so in a "SAFE" environment. Hence, the start of our career as disc-jockeys. A few things have changed since those days, such as, instead of 60 watts we are now carrying around about 30,000 watts, and our light show has made drastic improvements as well. I think we have covered just about any type event that you can think of since we took our show "on the road", including street dances, large corporate Christmas parties, large country club events, weddings and receptions, even a 50 year high school reunion, of which I can say we didn't have a whole lot of dancing. We have music from the 1940's thru today's top 40. Oh, and I think our friend's parents will even let them attend our parties now... :) . |
