Buffy
Buffy Summers was born in 1981, concieved by Hank and Joyce SUmmers. She was born and raised in L.A where she hoped to become like her figure skating hero Dorothy Hamil. Her dreams were put on hold, however when she was told by a strange man called Merrick that she was a Slayer. Merrick was a Watcher, or a keeper of a Slayer. Buffy immediatly took up the lifestyle, but not with enthusiasm. Her first major victory was burning down her gymnasium which was swarming with vampires. This got her expelled if I am correct, and she moved to Sunnydale, or the Hellmouth with her mother after her parents divorced. Many adventures followed, some of them including affairs with vampires and dying more than once. Welcome to her world. She has died twice, and currently is struggling to pay the bills and keep up a good relationship with her little sister, former KEy, Dawnie.
Dawn
Dawn was never really born, but created by the monks. Dawn is the Key, an exremely powerful supernatural being. The monks created her in the image of a human and a sister to the Slayer. HOwever, putting all this aside, Dawn is a normal teenager. Recently, Dawn had been feeling neglected and started shoplifting. She stole a brand new leather jacket for Buffy for her birtday, with the SECURITY TAG STILL ON IT!! But after Xander wheeled in his present, she was forgotten yet again. Buffy is currently teaching Dawn the tricks of the trade of slaying. Interesting note**- In a past ( or maybe it was future) episode, Dawn mistakes herself for a potential chosen one. come on Joss, Make her the slayer to replace Buffy after she died! Another one is supposed to rise in her place! Who is it? I say DAWNIE!
Rupert Giles
Rupert Giles was born in '54 into a family of Watchers. He wanted to become a fighter pilot or a grocer but had to take up the family buissness before he could fufill his dreams. He took over Buffy's former Watcher's(Merrick) place after he was killed, and developed a bond between the Slayer and himself. He was like a father to the Slayer. HE was fired from his position after he had to revoke Buffy's powers in a ritual. Wesely took over, but nothing stopped Giles from being an aid to Buffy, and nothing stopped him from being a father figure either. After a long time of unemployment, he took up the Magic Box after its previous owner was killed. He left for England quite recently, leaving the buissness to former demon Anyanca, better known as Anya, Xanders girlfriend.
