Has anyone ever compiled a list of all the record labels that recorded and released records in the city of Memphis, TN, in the 1950s and 1960s?  Between the rockabilly, the blues, the soul, and the garage bands, and some country, jazz, and gospel, there were a lot of labels in Memphis.  A directory of Memphis labels would make a great reference book, complete with a brief history, the owners, the addresses, the time frame, photogaphs, label designs, and (longest of all) the discography.  Sounds like a major book to me.
