Ruud

Ruud joined the Owls in a �6,800,000 move from PSV on turn 1 of season 5.

Initially Ruud struggled to challenge Christian Vieri and Michael Owen to partner Andriy Shevchenko in attack, but in season 6 he became a regular (almost).

Scoring 24 goals in 43 competitive games he finished as the fouth top scorer in the Premiership. By the start of this current season Ruud had scored 35 goals in 75 competitive games for the mighty Owls.

With his rating increasing steadly, he is proving to be a bargain purchase by our astute manager.

Ruud is frequently courted bu other managers, most especially of Manchester United whose frustrations at not acquiring his target are clear to see.

But fans will be pleased to know that Ruud is going no-where. With him the club's attack is in Ruud health!!
