Michael represented a significant gamble by our respected manager in paying out �2.6m to Arsenal for an unproven 17 year old.

Just like Javier Saviola, Michael's long spell in the youth team enabled him to continue to learn his trade. And he certainly has done that! His pace and eye for a goal frightens all defences.

Michael suffers somewhat from the competition ahead of him, most especially from Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Christian Vieri. However whenever called upon Michael has always performed well, often scoring crucial goals. This habit cause Michael to spend most of season 6 as a substitute, often resulting in the fans calling him super-sub.

Howver Michael has shown his qualities and exciting future whm selected in the first team throughout the friendly tournamount running between seasons 6 and 7.
