Tara attended college at Faulkner University where she pursued a degree in education. She also apprenticed at a salon for four years and earned her cosmetologist's license. In the summer of 2001, she married Paul Merryman and moved to Birmingham, AL where she is currently an assistant director at her church's day school (as well as church secretary). Tara is the owner and founder of Dada Hobbyhorse and hopes to make it a full-time job someday.
