Sappers people. I just got back from my all day orientation at CSU San Marcos. Damn SM made me go to freshmen orientation since i'm not upper division transfer. Oh well, i was bored the whole time and i'm tired of hearing freshmen ask about the EPT and ELM and if 12 units and 4 classes is good enough. Anyway i was bored during one of the workshops so i was looking through the free planner they gave us and there are different quotes on every page. I just felt like posting my favorite one because it's something i really believe.

Hi. Remember the 8th Commandment: Thou shall not bear false witness against thy neighbor. In other words, don't lie.
That's all i have to say for now.

Hahaha, shoot...i began updating last night and i lied down for a 5 minute break and i fell asleep till Noon today. Anyway, so how was watching the filming of MTV's Nsync: Road To Celebrity? Well, it was pretty cool. It's cool to see the guys real close, and in a sort of casual way, well as casual as I will ever see them. Even they only performed two songs, Gone and Pop, it was still cool. The rest of the time was just standing around in the hot sun at Qualcomm Stadium parking lot. But still, those 5 guys are awesome.
Sunday night, me and CJ went out and bought the Nsync Yearbook magazine and got window paint from Theresa so we could decorate CJ's car for the car decorating contest. Me, CJ, and Jer went to CJ's at 430am to start decorating the car. Got some pictures below of his car and Theresa's car. Our cars didnt win, but they were picked to be in the background, so that was cool, and Theresa and Ahmed said they saw Joey's brother with his personal video camera video taping all the cars, so at least we know the guys will see them...yaha. Haha check out the pictures and tell me what you think of the sayings on the windows.
We didn't get the guys autographs, but Ahmed had a sign that said "AHMED aka Justin" with an arrow pointing down to him, and we know Mr. Timberlake saw it cuz he looked at us and started laughing. Hahaha. And when JC laughs, he really cracks up and jumps out of his chair and stuff, something me and CJ do when we crack up. Haha, that's rad. Too bad we can't sing like him. And his hair is awesome.
Ok, we couldn't bring cameras into the showing, so i don't have any pictures of them, damn. But here are pics of the cars. Check them out. That's it for now. Catch you later.
Ahmed's first reaction to seeing CJ's car
Ooohh...By the way, don't forget to watch the show on Saturday, July 21 at 12:00pm (that's noon ok) on MTV. Ok bye bye bye.

Hey Hey!! It's monday night and i am exhausted. Three hours of sleep and one meal in like 13 hours of standing around doesn't do too well with the body.

Sappers everyone. It's Saturday night, and i'm sitting at home on my computer, all right. Damn i'm bored. Anyway, other than being bored i'm pretty happy, why do you ask? Mart Jahnkes got a new truck today that's why. Black 2001 Chevy S10, i might add. Yaha! Goods tough, wish i had a girl to show it off to. Hehe.
So, what's been happening....oooohhh....on Thursday, i went to JOLLIBEE. Yep that's right. Haha i went with CJ, Ryan, Joseph, Melissa and Jon. We waited for two freakin hours just to order, then waited what seemed like a long time for our food. Damn, that was a whole lot of filipinos in one place. But the food was pretty good, since it was the first time i went there. I got a burger, and it tastes just like the ones my dad makes, with onions mixed into the meat...figure that's what gives it the different flavor. Tasted the chicken from whoever ordered it, thats goods tough..i'm definitely getting chicken next time i go 6 months from now. Gotta wait till the hype dies down hehe. Anyway, hehe Jollibee is cool.
I got a question. Why do filipinos have to be so lazy? Haha. Me and CJ figure that's like the number one trait, mostly because me and him have way too much of it, haha. But really now, on Thursday at Jollibee, like when we were waiting for our fodd, the workers were like turning people away saying they were closed, i don't recall what time it was. Then after we ate, and as we were leaving people were like ordering food again. We are like wtf, thought they were closed. Hmmm...interesting, don't you think. Oh well, i got my food haha.
Yeah well, that's it for now i guess. Ooooh wait..one more thing...I'm going to the filming of MTV's Nsync special called "Road To Celebrity." Huaaaaa. Yaha, it's on monday morning, its just too bad i don't have tickets to the actual concert..but hey this is good enough..still get to see JC, Justin, Chris, Lance, and Joey. Hell yeah. I'll let you guys know how it goes. Catch you later.

Hmmm...ok so it's a day later, The Jahnkes is feeling better. Got things straightened out. Apologies to whoever for Mart Jahnkes kinda blowing things out of proportion. That's what happens when you have an emotional guy like me around. Hehe.
Well, even though speaking your mind and your emotions can cause some uneasiness sometimes, i don't think that should prevent people from speaking their minds. But my friend Jonny said to me something he got from our late Kuya Joel, "God put your head above your heart." Basically, in Jon's words, feel what is right, do what is best. Makes a whole lot of sense doesn't it.
Ok my head hurts for some odd reason. Catch you people later.

Wow people, it's been a long time since i've been here. Well since i've been home in San Diego i haven't found the urge to write anything. I guess when you're alone in a place with no friends, you have to figure out some way to pass the time and thats what my web page was. But i'm updating now because now i've actually got something to say. Today sucks.
I have been edgy since last night. Oh yeah, happy fourth of July everyone. Mine wasn't that great. All i have to say is that The Jahnkes doesn't appreciate being ignored by someone who thought was his friend and doesn't appreciate being led on. Anyone who knows me knows that being ignored is at the top of my list of things i hate the most, and being led on is near the top too, because Mart Jahnkes is a straight up kind of guy.
Continuing, since i was edgy last night, i had some trouble sleeping, and when i woke up i was still pissed off. i have been feeling this way for pretty much the whole day. I'm usually a pretty happy, go-lucky guy, so when I'm not smiling, my friends know something is wrong, and since i'm usually a pretty happy guy..i hate feeling this way, especially if its for the whole damn day.
I don't really know what i want to say, got a bunch of stuff going through my mind, lots of emotion going through my body, right now my mind is a mess. I guess i just had to let something out and so i did it. Soon as i get things straightened out i'll let you guys know.

Sappers...nothing really significant going on today, although summer school started yesterday...ack to summer school. Like Zack always said, those two words do not go together. Anyway, i'd just like to post some pictures from one of our weekly poker nights...feel free to check them out. That's it for now.

Wow...it's really been a while hasn't it? And i figured that since summer began i would have more time to keep this thing updated. I guess i've jsut been enjoying my one week of vacation so far...since i have school again on Monday. I left Pomona on June 7th, and i believe i can say i left there with no regrets. Another reflective entry on the year gone by...but this time...it is really over. The first year of college is finally over. And what a year it has been. My high school english teacher, Ms. Hughes, once said that "the college experience is different for everyone." Well she was right. Not everyone's can be the greatest time of their lives. And mine sure wasn't. But i'm not the type of person so dwell on stuff. And that's why i can let this past experience go without any regrets.
Maybe i didn't party day and night in the dorms, maybe i didn't make any new friends in the dorms. So what. Are you going to tell me that i didn't live the true college experience? But wait, the college experience is different for everyone. So lets not say Mart didn't survive in Pomona. Maybe Pomona wasn't ready for Mart hehe. Anyway, i been through this many times, so i dont want to go through it again, so all i want to say is thank you Pomona for the experience, i won't forget it and it's truly showed me some different things about myself. Thanks again.
So lets see, I want to thank Joey for introducing me to Melissa. And thank you Melissa for becoming such a good friend in a short time and making my last quarter in Pomona more enjoyable than the other two. You are quite an interesting girl, hehe don't take that in a bad way, because interesting is very good. You are such a strong and independent girl, one of the most strong and independent i've ever met, and that's just great and you inspire me also.
It's graduation season, and its time for the class of 2001 to say goodbye to high school. I can remember exactly what i was doing at this time of year. My friends said what every group of friends says, that things arent going to change and we'll always be friends. I gave them hugs and said yeah we will, but i knew it wasn't going to be the same after that. And boy i was right. We are still friends, but the closeness that existed in the past is no longer there, and that's just the way things go. As i've said before in this web page of mine, you might not be the best of friends anymore, but you'll always have the memories and no one can ever take those away from you, memories live on forever.
There is a girl out there who has played a significant part in my life for the past few years. And now she's graduated from high school and ready to move on with her life. She's in for a great experience, but she doesn't want to hear it from me. I just want to say thank her for being my best friend when i needed one, and for that i shall be forever thankful. Our relationship has changed quite significantly, we've both moved on with our separate lives, but as i've said before, the memories will live on. And my door is always open if times ever get tough.
Wow, this year has really been a roller coaster. A lot of changes, a lot experiences, a lot of growing. For those of you out there who are about to embark on this journey called the first year of college, please take to mind what i've said and good luck to you all. Now enough looking back, let's move on and look forward. And always remember what Doc Brown said to Marty and Jennifer in Back To The Future III, "The future isn't written yet. The future is whatever you make of it. So make it a good one."
