| ~In "Taffy Sinclair Strikes Back", Jana is described as brown-eyed, but then in "Taffy Sinclair, Queen of the Soaps", she is said to have blue eyes.* ~In "The Against Taffy Sinclair Club", Beth mentions her college-age sister, then in later Fab Five books, her older sister (who must be Brittany) is said to be 16 and in highschool.* ~Throughout The Fabulous Five series, Laura McCall is said to live in an apartment with her dad, but in "Seventh-Grade Rumors", when Laura and her friends want to help The Fab Five find Beth, Laura makes her suggestion as to where Beth might be by referring to her "backyard" where she says she has a playhouse where keeps her dolls. Apartments generally don't have private backyards.* ~In "Class Trip Calamity", Jana is fixing her lunch (for the big class trip) in her kitchen, then 'goes upstairs to bed', which doesn't make any sense, as Jana lives in a one floor apartment!** ~In "Hit and Run", Randy gives Jana a bear for Valentines Day which she names "Gorgeous"; then in "Yearbook Memeories", Jana refers to the bear as "Precious".** ~In "The Great TV Turnoff", Laura and Tammy are referred to as cheerleaders, then later in the book, Laura and -Melissa- are cheerleaders.** ~In "Yearbook Memories", 'Copper Beach Elementary' is referred to once or twice as 'Copper Hill Elementary'. ** ~There is a big mistake with the Wakeman charm bracelets in "Laura's Secret" when Laura accuses Alexis of taking Laura's charm bracelet, and to make her deception look real, Laura must 'remove the cheerleading charm off her own bracelet to make is look like it's Alexis's.' But really, that wouldn't have been necessary because Alexis would have had a cheerleading charm on her bracelet, too, since she was also on the cheerleading squad! ~In "Taffy Sinclair and the Romance Machine Disaster", Jana keeps talking about Randy Kirwan's 'dark hair and eyes'. While Randy did have brown hair, his eyes were definitely blue! ~For the first couple books in The Fabulous Five series, there is mention of a girl called "Darcy Holyfield". Later on, though, this girl's name changes to Dekeisha Adams. ~A girl named Stephanie Holgrem is in the Fab Five's 6th grade class, but in 7th grade she becomes "Stacy" Holgrem. ~In "The Hotline Emergency", when The Fab Five is sitting around at Katie's house trying to figure out who the mystery caller is, they are bringing up various boys in the 7th grade class as possible culprits, and refer to the 7th grade class president as "Clarence" Trowbridge instead of *Curtis* Trowbridge. ~In "The Against Taffy Sinclair Club", which takes place at the start of The Fab Five's *5th* grade year, Jana is still upset over how her father promised her a trip out west that summer, but never came for her. Then several times during The Fabulous Five book series, for instance in "The Fabulous Five in Trouble", it's said that Mr. Morgan invited Jana on the vacation out west the summer before her *6th* grade year, instead of her *5th*. ~In "Yearbook Memories", The Fab Five and friends are all looking through their yearbooks and Melanie mentions how awful she thinks she looks in the picture of the cheerleaders yelling at the soap game. But Melanie wasn't yet a cheerleader at the time of the soap game- they hadn't even had tryouts yet for the seventh grade squad! *-thanks to CNJ **-thanks to Allie |
