Job's is a wonderful orginization for young women who learn Leadership, Orginizational, and Memorization Skills plus you gain some of the best friends of your life. Right now Job's Daughters are active in the USA, Canada, The Phillipines, Australia and Brazil. To become a Job's Daughter you must be between the ages of 10 and 20 and related to A Master Mason.

I was initiated into Bethel #66 DeKalb Illinois on November 7th 1988. at the age of 11. I was elected to Marshal in late 1990 and then began my love for this orginization. I spent most of the next few years going up line traveling all over the state of Illinois making many friends. On December 13th 1992 I was installed as Honored Queen. this is usiually a 6 month term of Office. well little did I know that at that moment I would be up there for 5 years with the exception for about 6 months in 1995 when I was busy with school stuff) Durring this time I became very active on the state level and did a lot of traveling around the state and helping Bethel's in my area. In May of 97 I took my "Bethel Majority" and a lot of my good friends of the the time came and took stations. Then in April of 1999 I was elected to Grand Bethel Jr Princess a goal I had asperations for since I was 12. The next two years were filled with Good times and some not so good times (we call those learning experiances) and on April 28th 2001 I became the 30th Grand Bethel Honored Queen of Illinois. The year was very memorable. The most memorable Moment as GBHQ and in my Jobs Daughters Career has to have been at Supreme Session in Kansas City MO, I presented the HQ Regalia from Bethel #1 Chicago to the International center, durring the Supreme Guardian Council meeting. I was on Cloud nine.
After giving up my crown & gown I decided to go on the Bethel Guardian Council as Director of Epochs. I left for Disney in May of 03 and in October I got a phone call telling me that I was asked that if the girls and council were to vote me in, in may Would I accept the position of Bethel Guardian. Even thougth I was 1,500 miles away I said if they wanted me I would do it. and then in November I got another phone call from the Vice Grand Guardian asking if I would be a Grand Officer for her 2004-05 GGC year It took me about 6 weeks to get back to her with an answer and here I am now
Grand 5ht Messenger, and Bethel Guardian, not to mention Im also on a bunch of Committees... I guess Its in my blood and I cant get rid of it but thats ok because this orginization has taught me a lot about life and myself. |
