Xander gasped as he shot up out of his bed from the dream he was having. He�s drawn to look at his arm and there is a long cut down it. He lets out a sigh and then cries but soon stops and then smiles.
Spike is in his crypt. He looks down at his hand and sees a cut on it and he smile as well.
However somewhere else Angel is not smiling. In fact he�s hurting and tired and clearly looks like he just got out of a fight of some kind. However a wave of good feeling swipes over him, he knows that it�s his Childe however for a wave this intense there has to be someone else involved. He smiles and knows his Childe has made a good call in choosing a human mate. Normally vampires only choose human mates once in their life span, if they are lucky. Angel felt as if he was given more than he was allowed. As Angelus he found a human mate, named William. After a lone bullet had hit William, Angelus was forced to change him or let him die in his arms but not by his hands. Angelus would have none of that and change him into William the Bloody. Angel as well had fallen for a human mate but she proved to cost much more than he could afford, namely his soul. When his Childe had called saying he had found someone other than Dru, both Angel and Angelus were shock. And when he learned it was Xander his teeth had hit the floor. At first both Angel and Angelus had wanted to tear the boys throat out, however for two different reasons. Angel because Xander knew better, he knew what Spike could do and add in the fact that he was friends with the Slayer. Angelus because he wanted no-one, human or demon, near his boy. However when Spike brought the boy to L.A. and *ask* for his permission, both knew it was real and nothing could stop it. When he had heard his Childe and the human mate climax in passion and ended up have a climax as well he knew what he had to do and he granted a union. Spike and Xander left a few days later but they knew all three of them were bounded. Sire to Childe, Childe to Human mate and therefore Human mate to Sire. That was the extra strength that Angel had felt as he walked down the sewers. He might not know what was going on with his Childe and Xander but whatever it was, it was good and maybe even get better.
