WILLOW AND ILLYRIA�S ROOM, HOTEL, NIGHT
We open inside the room and only see Willow there. She�s in her nightclothes and a toothbrush in her mouth. Then she sees Connor standing in the doorway she jumps about three feet back in shock. Connor sees her like this and becomes all red.
Connor: �Uh sorry, I didn�t mean� the door was open��
Willow takes the toothbrush out of her mouth.
Willow: �I thought I closed that.�
Connor: �Uh, yeah, so anyways what�s the game plan?�
Willow: �Uh, right, the game plan. We�re going in tomorrow night. That way things will be slow and we might not be seen by that many guards.�
Connor just nods his head and heads out the door.
Willow: �A prefect gentleman.�
Connor: �Learn it from my father.�
Willow isn�t sure how to take that.
PAN TO OUTSIDE ON THE ROOF, NIGHT
We see Illyria standing there; sleeping when suddenly a group of vampire surrounds her. Illyria�s eyes shoot wide open and she sees what surrounds her.
Illyria: �You dare to challenge me? A group of half breeds?�
Head Vamp: �Yeah we dare. We don�t like new comers here.�
Illyria: �We will leave here by tomorrow night.�
Head Vamp: �You aren�t going to make till then. Get her.�
The group all make a bee line for Illyria. Illyria takes a vamp in her hand and decapitates him. The rest sees this and backs off but only for a second. A female then charges at Illyria and Illyria make swift work of her. The rest of the group backs off.
Head vamp: �You might have won tonight but you won�t get away with this.�
The vamp gang heads off and Illyria heads inside the hotel and heads to the room she�s sharing with Willow.
PAN TO WILLOW AND ILLYRIA�S ROOM
Willow is getting comfortable in bed when Illyria walks in.
Willow: �How� Never mind don�t tell me. Good night Illyria.�
Illyria: �It will not be a good night. A group of half-breeds know we are here and came after me.�
Willow sits straight up at hearing this.
Willow: �You sure? We�re going to have to tell Buffy to see what she wants to do.�
PAN TO BUFFY�S AND FAITH�S ROOM
Buffy and Faith are just about to go to bed when there is a knock at the door. Buffy opens the door to see Willow and Illyria standing there.
Willow: �We have big problems.�

INSIDE BUFFY�S AND FAITH�S ROOM
Buffy, Willow and Faith are sitting on the beds Illyria is just standing there.
Buffy: �What you mean we have problems.�
Willow: �Illyria here was attack on the roof.�
Illyria: �I was challenged by a group of half-breeds.�
Faith: �Oh what? Is the big bad old one afraid of the little vampires?�
Illyria steps up in front of Faith but Buffy steps in-between of them.
Illyria: �I would have crushed them if they had not turn and flee like the cowards they truly are.�
Buffy turns to Faith and look at her like don�t you dare start anything.
Buffy: �Willow�s right Faith. If these vamps are working for anything more than themselves we could have trouble.�
Faith: �Fine. What do you what to do about it?�
Buffy: �I have a really bad idea but we�ll need Spikes help.�
PAN TO SPIKE�S AND CONNOR�S ROOM.
We see Spike and Connor sleeping, shirtless, and in separate beds, when there comes knocking on the door. Spike crawls out of bed and opens the door to see Buffy standing there.
Buffy: �We have problems.�
Spike: �What? Come on in.�
Spike moves so Buffy can enter. Spike grabs his shirt off of the back of a chair and throws it on. Connor is woken by all the commotion. And sits up to see Buffy, he quickly grabs his shirt and throws it on.
Connor: �What�s going on?�
Spike: �Buffy says there�s trouble. Time to rise and shine.�
Buffy faces Spike.
Buffy: �Really we need you. But it might not hurt to have him along. Illyria was attack on the roof by a group of vampires.�
Spike: �And what? You�re afraid that they might be working for someone?�
Buffy: �That�s the fear. We need someone to go and get info about them. I know they�ll recognize Faith or myself in a heartbeat and Willow isn�t much good by herself, and if we send Illyria��
Spike: �There�s goes any chance of the element of surprise when we go into WolfRam and Hart.�
Buffy: �Yeah, so we come to you.�
Spike: �Ok I�ll go see what I can. I�ll even take Connor here.�
Buffy: �But be careful, we all need to be here tonight to go to WolfRam and Hart.�
Connor climbs out of bed and puts on his shoes, and heads to the door.
Connor: �We�ll be ok.�
Spike and Buffy look at each other while Connor heads down the hall.
Spike: �We�ll be fine.�
Buffy gently kisses Spike.
Buffy: �Please take care and try to watch over the boy, he maybe a pounce but he�s Angels� kid�
Spike just looks at her. Then grabs his shoes and heads for the door.
Spike: �I will�
Spike heads down the hallway after Connor
PAN ON BUFFY
Buffy: �Did I really just use the word pounce? I�ve really got to get some American friends�
PAN TO STREET, OUTSIDE, NIGHT
We see Connor and Spike just walking down the street when suddenly Connor spots a vamp and taps Spike on the arm.
Connor: �There�
Spike looks at the being and can tell it�s a vampire, then looks at Connor and is impressed and a little confused.
Spike: �How do you know?�
Connor: �I just do, now come on�
Spike and Connor follow him into an old warehouse that has been redone to house vampires.
PAN WAREHOUSE, INSIDE
Spike and Connor walk in and suddenly all eyes are on them.
Connor leans close to Spike and at a whisper.
Connor: �I think we found them.�
Spike: �Oh really how can you tell?�
Connor: �It looks like we found very vamp in Cleveland.�
Suddenly a Girl Vamp appears in front of them.
Girl Vamp: �You�re two brave souls to come here.�
Spike: �What do you mean brave souls?�
Girl Vamp: �It smells like you two have souls.�
Spike: �That�s just the smell of L.A. It�s smells like that�
Girl Vamp: �Really? Prove it.�
Spike vamps out showing the girl his vampire face then morphs back.
Girl Vamp: �Ok you pass but what about your friend here�
Spike: �Why does he have to prove anything?�
Connor taps Spike on the arm.
Connor: �It�s ok, Spike.�
Spike looks at Connor really confused by what he means.
Connor morphs into vampire face and show the Girl Vamp. Spike is taken off by this but tries to play it cool. Connor then morphs back into human face
Girl Vamp: �Fine but don�t you dare start anything here.�
Connor: �Wouldn�t think of it.�
Spike and Connor walk pass groups of vamp sucking off of bodies. They find a table and have a seat. Spike looks at Connor.
Spike: �What the hell was that!?�
Connor: �What?�
Spike: �Oh don�t play dumb, you little pounce. You know what.�
Connor: �Oh you mean the morphing?�
Spike: �Uh, yeah�
Connor: �I don�t know really, I�ve been able to do it since the night my parents were killed. At first I thought I had been change but as you�ve seen I can go out in the day light and not fry, so I just guessed it was part of my genetics.�
Spike: �So what? You just have the face and the skills without any of the side affects?�
Connor: �Looks that way�
A waiter in Vamp face walks up to them.
Waiter: �What can I get you two?�
Spike: �B-Negative�
Waiter: �And you?�
Connor: �Nothing thanks.�
Spike just look at him. The waiter leaves.
Spike: �Wow, I guess you don�t have the side affects. Must be lucky.�
Connor: �Yeah, lucky. Hey, could you do me a favor and not tell� � Looks for a safe word to use �the girls. I don�t think they�ll like it every much or understand it.�
Spike: �Fine I won�t tell them but who else knows?�
The waiter comes back with a glass of blood, and the bill, and places them on the table. Then leaves.
Connor isn�t sure how to answer so he just grabs a napkin and grabs a pen that is with the bill. He writes �ILLYRIA�
Spike: �She knows?�
Connor: �Yeah.�
Spike is quite for a moment when he hears a couple of vamps in another corner talking.
Head Vamp: �Yeah I�ve never seen anything like her. She killed two of my best guys without even moving. I would have called her a slayer except she was blue.�
Second Vamp: �Blue?�
Head Vamp: �Yeah she had on this skin tight outfit and a bad blue hair die.�
Spike bumps Connor.
Spike: �Looks like we found Illyria�s friends�
Spike nods to the corner where the Head Vamp is sitting.
Spike: �Looks like they were just working on their own. We can go.�
Spike grabs a quick drink of the blood and puts down a ten.
Spike: �Ugh�
Connor just look at him, and heads for the door, Spike follows.
PAN TO STREET, OUTSIDE, NIGHT
Spike and Connor are heading back to the hotel when the Head Vamp jumps down from the rooftop and faces them.
Head Vamp: �We really don�t like newcomers.�
Spike: �We were just leaving.�
Head Vamp: �Damn right you are, and if we ever see your face again we will kill you vampire or not.�
Spike and Connor just walk off and we stay on the Head Vamp.
Head Vamp: �Steve, follow them.�
A tall vamp walks onto the street and is gone in a second in the direction Spike and Connor were heading.
PAN TO HOTEL BUFFY�S & FAITH�S ROOM, NIGHT
We see Buffy, Spike, Connor, Willow, and Faith standing around the room. Illyria is nowhere to be seen.
Buffy: �You sure that they were working alone?�
Spike: �Yeah, we sure. They didn�t seem to know anything big except that she isn�t a slayer. So I�m guessin� that they aren�t working for anyone.�
Buffy: �Ok, thanks.�
Buffy faces the rest of the gang.
Buffy: �Ok, we all need to get some rest. Tonight we�re going in and if you think there wont be a fight on our hand your wrong. Spike, you will be with me and Faith to get the box and Connor, Willow and Illyria��
Buffy looks around
Buffy: �Where is Illyria?�
Connor: �The last time I saw her she was walking the hall on the third floor.�
Buffy: �Ok just so she doesn�t cause a problem. You, Willow and her will aim for a template.�
Willow: �I did a locator spell to see where they are and they�re on the third floor. It might be tough getting threw.�
Connor: �I think we can do it�
Buffy: �Ok everyone grab some rest and we�ll head out tonight. Oh, Faith when you get up, could you make the call to the airline so we can get a flight home? Willow can teleport the box and Jeep back but we still have to fly.�
Faith: �Yeah ok�
The group breaks up and Willow, Connor, and Spike head out the door.
PAN TO HALLWAY
The three are walking down the hall when they bump into Illyria.
Illyria: �What is the plan�
Spike: �The plan is to grab some sleep before we raise hell tonight�
Illyria cocks her head at hearing this
Illyria: �Very well I will return when we are to leave�
Willow just walks past Illyria and heads to her room.
Spike and Connor do the same.
PAN TO OUTSIDE OF THE HOTAL, NIGHT
We see standing in the shadows the vampire, Steve. He just stands there for a few seconds then moves off.
PAN TO WAREHOUSE, INSIDE
Steve is talking to our Head Vamp
Steve: �They�re in the same hotel, I don�t know if they�re together or not�
Head Vamp: �Very well�
Steve: �What do you what to do about them W.T.?�
W.T.: �We�ll just wait and see what they plan to do. But keep a few men on them. I�ll stop by tonight.�
Fade out to black
End of Act1
OUTSIDE THE HOTEL, NIGHT
We see Willow, Buffy, Connor, and Illyria standing outside the hotel. Spike and Faith are nowhere to be seen.
Buffy: �Where are they?�
Willow: �I don�t know, they said they had an errand to go run, but I don�t know what that meant�
Suddenly a U-Hall Truck pulls up and stops right in front of the group. The doors swing open and Spike and Faith jump out.
Faith: �Where the hell did you learn how to drive?�
Spike: �Well it was better than having you drive.�
Faith: �Not by much.�
Faith faces the group while Spike opens the back hatch.
Faith: �Sorry B, but if I had told ya, you would have tried to stop us.�
Buffy: �Really, the sad thing is I wouldn�t.�
Faith and Willow just look at her while Spike comes around from the back
Spike: �What?�
Buffy: �I kind of was think along the same lines here, cause no offence, but we all and the box aren�t going to fit inside the Jeep. I was thinking of grabbing a truck on the way there but since ya�ll already got it we can head to WolfRam and Hart. Faith and I are in the front the rest of ya�ll in the back.�
Buffy and Faith climb in and the rest of the group head to the back.
Faith: �I hope you can drive better than Spike.�
Suddenly there�s a bang on the back wall.
Buffy: �I guess that means we�re ready to go.�
We see the truck pull off.
PAN TO OUTSIDE WOLFRAM AND HART, NIGHT
We see the truck pull up right outside the garage of WolfRam and Hart. We see Spike opening the hatch and jumping out. Connor and Illyria follow. Willow holds back trying to regain her footing. We then see W.T. walk out onto the scene.
W.T.: �Well, lookie here, you working with her.�
He nods over to Illyria.
Spike: �Boy, you just better leave now before you get hurt�
Five more vampires walk from out of the shadows 2 guys and 3 girls. One of the girls it the Girl Vamp we saw back in the warehouse and one of the guys is Steve.
W.T.: �Who�s going to get hurt?�
With that Buffy and Faith climb out of the truck cab and Willow jump down from the back.
W.T.: �Oh what you think that�s going to scare me?�
With that Faith grabs a stake a throws it straight at a vamp and it land square in his chest in his heart. The vampire turns to dust.
W.T.: �Oh, so you brought a couple of Slayers with you?�
Buffy: �What do you mean a couple of Slayers. We�re the original Slayers.�
W.T.: �What do you mean original Slayers?�
Faith: �We�ll show ya.�
Faith breaks off and charges for a vampire.
PAN TO SPIKE
Spike is paired off with the girl vamp from the club.
Girl Vamp: �I knew something wasn�t right with you. You do have a soul.�
Spike: �Yeah, which is more than I for you.�
PAN TO CONNOR AND WILLOW
Willow and Connor are paired off facing a girl vamp. Connor is fighting with everything he has without going vamp, while Willow starts to chant a spell.
PAN TO ILLYRIA
Illyria is fighting W.T.
W.T.: �I told you this wasn�t over.�
Illyria: �I will crush you before you even have the chance to move.�
W.T.: �We�ll see about that.�
W.T. charges at Illyria. Illyria moves out of the way and tries to kick W.T. to the ground but misses. It is clear that W.T. is a fighter and knows how to fight well. Illyria then throw a punch which W.T. blocks. W.T. then throw a punch that Illyria blocks, the two of them go at this for a little while, before Illyria gains the upper hand. She has a stake ready and jabs it into W.T. chest, right in the heart. We see W.T. go puff.
PAN TO FAITH
Faith is fighting a girl vamp with everything she dares to use. Faith pulls out a stake and puts it square in the heart. We see the vamp go puff.
PAN TO BUFFY
We see Buffy fighting Steve and is having a little trouble. Steve has Buffy in a feeding hold. Faith spots Buffy and notices she�s having trouble.
Faith: �Need some help there, B?�
Buffy: �Yeah, would be nice.�
Faith walks up to Steve and jams a stake square into his back, we see Steve look up and then turn into dust.
Buffy: �Thanks�
We then hear Spike cry out in pain
PAN TO SPIKE
We see Spike laying face down on the ground and the girl vamp has her High Heels pressed into Spike back. Right on his spine. Spike can�t move at all.
Buffy and Faith then come and rush the girl vamp, knocking her to the ground. Faith is holding her while Buffy shove a stake into her heart. She goes puff.
Spike is slowly climbing to his feet. Pulling the girl heels out of his back.
We see Connor and Willow walking up; Willow is brushing dust off of herself. Illyria walks over to join the rest of the group.
Buffy: �We�ve got to do this fast. Will, Connor and Illyria head for the front door, we�ll take the back.�
Willow, Connor, and Illyria head off for the front doors, while Buffy climbs back inside the truck.
Buffy: �I�m going to try and get it as close as I can.�
Buffy climbs back in the truck. She takes off and is block by a gate. She slams the truck into gear and rams into the gate. The gate gives, Faith and Spike run after Buffy and the truck.
Faith: �I�ve got to give it to her, I didn�t think she�d do it.�
PAN TO THE FRONT DOORS
We see Willow standing at the front doors. They�re locked. Willow pulls out a blue bag and grabs some of the power that�s inside and throws it on the door.
Willow: �Expositus�
Suddenly the doors fly open. The group walks in.
Connor: �It looks just like the way the WolfRam and Hart did in L.A.�
Illyria: �If that is correct then I know where the templates are.�
Illyria heads straight for an elevator but then suddenly alarms go off.
P.A: �THERE IS A VAMPIRE ON THE GROUNDS; THERE IS A VAMPIRE ON THE GROUNDS.�
Connor: �Way to go Spike, great way of staying covered.�
PAN TO BASEMENT
We see Buffy, Faith and Spike at a door.
Buffy: �From what Willow told me the box should be behind here.�
Spike: �Yeah well let�s hurry, it seems I�ve managed to trip an alarm.�
Suddenly a guard appears. Spike kicks him and he�s out cold.
Buffy kicks the door with all the slayer strength she has but can only dent it.
Buffy: �I can�t do it alone, Faith some help.�
Faith and Buffy kick the door again and it goes flying. The three walk in and see the box sitting in the middle of the floor coved in lights. Buffy heads straight for it but Faith grabs her arm. Buffy stops and Faith pulls out a stone from her coat pocket. It�s nothing fancy or anything. Buffy looks at Faith.
Faith: �I found it out in the yard one day and I for some reason like it. Guess I know the reason now.�
Faith throws the stone into the lights and nothing happen. Buffy then walks towards the box but is shocked when she touches the lights.
Buffy: �Ow, Crap.�
Spike turns around to see what�s up.
Spike: �What?�
Buffy: �The damn thing shocked me.�
Faith: �It�s heat sincere. That�s why the rock didn�t shock.�
Spike: �There�s no way in hell I can move that thing by myself�
Buffy: �Just drag it out of those lights and we can help you from there.�
Suddenly a row of guards shows up. They are arm with stakes and guns. A fight then breaks out. Buffy and Faith are fighting with everything they�ve got and Spike is vamped out, ready to get into it.
PAN TO INSIDE ELEVATOR
Willow, Connor and Illyria are riding the elevator up to the third floor.
Connor: �So, uh, Illyria, just asking but being an old one I was wondering, if you, um, have any gifts. I mean the kicking ass thing is fine to have, it�s just like, can you do some of the stuff Willow can?�
Illyria: �I used to be a God to a God; my name was feared and worshipped across the globe and I was able to go and come between worlds as I saw fit.�
Illyria stops and looks at her hands
Illyria: �And now I�m reduce to living in a shell of a human. I wonder at times who did I anger so much that they saw this as a fitting punishment.�
Willow: �Plus can�t all old ones change the flow of time?�
Illyria: �That was one of my many powers, yes.�
Connor: �Have you tried to use any of them since the fight?�
Illyria just stands there quite
Connor: �I�ll take that as a no�
Suddenly the elevator stops and the doors open. Willow and Connor turn to walk out but are meet by a heavy row of armed guards. Illyria raises her arm and in a second the guards are slowed down to half the normal speed. Illyria is winded and a little disoriented.
Connor: �Wow, you still got it girl!�
Illyria: �Let�s go, I don�t know how long it will hold.�
Willow, Connor and Illyria head pass the guards and down the hall
PAN TO BASEMENT
There are about ten or so guards on the floor Faith and Buffy are ready for more if they come. Spike is standing behind the box trying to move it with everything he has. He can only move it a little at a time.
Faith: �You want to hurry with that thing?�
Spike: �I�m trying. It�s like this thing is bolted to the ground or something.�
Spike manages to move one side out of the lights and Buffy and Faith run over to grab it.
Faith: �Damn, this thing is hard to move. B, you sure we can to this?�
Buffy: �We don�t have much of a choice.�
The three of them manage to drag the thing out the door and to where the truck is.
Buffy: �I know I�m about to jinx us but that was too easy.�
Suddenly there come out a group of more guards and a demon.
Faith: �You had to go and say it didn�t you? DIDN�T YOU?�
A fight then breaks out. Spike is taking on a couple of guards while Buffy and Faith handle the demon.
Spike: �Will you two hurry up? We�ve got to go.�
Suddenly Willow, Connor, and Illyria come bursting into the room. Willow�s holding a template. Illyria and Connor join in the fight.
Illyria grabs the demon by the neck and gives a hard twist. We hear it neck break and we see it fall to the floor. Spike and Connor are taking care of the last of the guards. We seethe guard hit the ground out cold.
Spike: �Let�s go before any more show up.�
Spike, Faith, Connor, Buffy, and Illyria grab the box and drag it to the truck. They manage to lift it high enough to get it in the back of the truck. Willow jumps in after awards follow by Spike, Connor, and Illyria. Faith and Buffy run to the front and climb in. Buffy starts the engine and pulls out at high speeds.
PAN OUTSIDE WOLFRAM AND HART, NIGHT
We see the truck come flying out of the basement at high speeds.
Fade out to black
End of Act2
PAN TO OUTSIDE HOTEL, NIGHT
We see the truck pull up. Willow, Spike, Illyria, and Connor climb out of the back and Buffy and Faith climb out of the cab.
Buffy: �Willow can you do something about the truck, cause I�m guessing that WolfRam and Hart have guys already out looking of this.�
Willow: �Yeah, ok�
Willow climbs in the cab and drive the truck out of sight. The rest of the gang heads inside the hotel.
PAN BUFFYS AND FAITHS ROOM
Everyone one is standing around no one is saying anything.
Buffy finally breaks the silence.
Buffy: �Ok everyone the hard part is still to come, everyone head to bed and get a good night sleep, we�re flying back tomorrow first thing.�
The group breaks up and all head to their rooms.
PAN TO AIRPORT, OUTSIDE NIGHT/EARLY MORNING
We see the group all waiting on to board, Spike is wearing the Gem, Illyria looks like Fred.
PAN TO OUTSIDE THE PLANE
We see the plane take off
PAN TO L.A. AIRPORT
We see the plane land.
PAN TO HYPERION (EVENING)
We see Connor opening the door only to see an elder man standing in the middle of the lobby. Connor gets into a fighting stance but is hit when Buffy, Faith, Spike and Illyria come walking in carrying the box the group sets it down the second they see the man. It� Giles.
Buffy: �Giles? What are you doing here? What�s wrong? Is Dawn ok?�
Giles looks hard at Buffy, and she knows something is wrong.
Buffy: �Giles what is it?�
Giles: �It�s Dawn. She and Andrew are missing. We haven�t been able to find them.�
Buffy�s eyes weld up. But she throws on a tough act.
Buffy: �Fine, ok I�ll head back see if I can find her. You guys going to stay here and help them out?�
Willow: �I have to stay. I�ll join you when I�m done though.�
Faith: �I cant go nowhere you know that B. Got stick close around here.�
Buffy: �Fine ok. If there�s anything major I�ll send for you ok Will.�
Willow: �Yeah.�
Giles heads out the door Buffy turns to Spike and with a hug and a soft kiss on the cheek nothing more has to be said the look in each others eyes say it all. Buffy heads out the door. Connor who sees all of this is really confused but doesn�t say anything. He just goes and tries to picks up a portion of the box waiting for the others to help.
Connor: �We going to move this into the lobby or are we just going to leave it on the stairs?�
Illyria, Faith, and Spike all snap back into the moment. And help Connor lift the box into the lobby.
Willow goes and sets the template on the counter, then walks over to the group. Everyone looks at each other.
Spike: �Ok I say we all get some rest we�re going to need it cause no telling when those guys from WolfRam & Hart are going to show up looking for their box.�
Faith: �I have to agree. We need to get as much rest as possible. Red, think you can handle this on your own?�
Willow: �Yeah, but first I have to go and send the truck back to Cleveland. That�s going to take a little bit of time but I can do it, no problem.�
Faith: �Ok Illyria, while she�s gone you look after the place.�
Illyria: �I do not take orders from the likes of you.�
Faith steps up to Illyria but Spike step in-between.
Spike: �Ok lets not get into a fight before we have to, Illyria would you mind watching the place since you don�t seem to sleep.�
Illyria backs down and stands straight were she is, not moving a muscle.
Willow heads out the door to go take care of the truck while Spike, Faith, and Connor head up the stairs. When the group is out of sight we see Illyria standing in the same spot but her eyes are closed. It�s clear she�s sleeping.
PAN LOBBY (DAY)
We see willow sitting behind the counter, with her nose in the template. She�s having a hard time translating but is slowly getting it done. We see Illyria still standing in the middle of the lobby eyes close. When suddenly her eyes fling wide open and she cocks her head to the stairwell. Willow jumps at the sight of Illyria moving. She turns to the stairwell and coming down it is Faith.
Faith: �Have you been up the whole time, red?�
Willow: �Yeah, even Illyria here grabbed a few hours sleep.�
Illyria: �I was not sleep. I do not sleep. I was in a mental state to regain my powers that I have lost.�
Faith: �Yeah that�s called sleep, honey, and don�t worry about it, everything has to sleep at sometime.�
Illryia cocks her head trying to understand what Faith said, when we here a voice from the stairs.
Connor: �You guys want to keep it down? Some of us aren�t awake enough to understand the English language yet.�
Spike walks up behind Connor and smacks him on the back of the head. Connor grabs his head.
Connor: �Ow!!�
Spike: �Wake enough for that I see.
Connor: �You�re lucky I don�t hurt you were you stand.�
Spike: �Oh yeah? Try it.�
Before spike can even blink Connor has him in a holding position and Spike can�t move.
Spike: �Ok, fine, you win, you little twerp, now let me go.�
Connor lets go of Spike and both head down the stair. Faith and Willow aren't even paying them any attention.
Willow: �Good now that you�re all here we can get started. It�s a large ritual and there are a few things here that I have no idea how we�re going to get them.�
Spike: �What are they?�
Willow closes the template and sighs heavily.
Willow: �We need five vampires.�
Faith: �Are you joking?�
Willow: �Wish I were, but I�m not.�
Spike: �Fine then we find a nest and take hostages.�
Willow: �Plus add to that you Spike, and Illyria can�t be anywhere near when this happens. It says no demon is allowed to be present other than the ones we�re sacrificing.�
Connor eyes wide and he looks like he�s going to say something but he doesn�t.
Spike: �Fine, ok we go and get the vamps needed, you get some rest Will. This is going to take a lot out of you and we want Angel back safe and sound.�
Faith: �Illyria can get the second vamp.�
Illyria: �Very well.�
Willow picks up the template and heads up the stairs. Faith, Connor, spike and Illyria all head out the door.
PAN LOBBY (DAY, LATER)
We hear load growls coming from the lobby and we see two vamps chain to the box. We see Illyria standing behind them; she walks over to the one growling and hits him.
Illyria: �You will be quiet.�
The vamps quiet down.
We see the door open and we see Faith dragging a vamp in, followed by Spike dragging one as well as Connor with one over his shoulder. Illyria takes the vamp Connor is carrying and ties him to the box. Spike and Faith do the same.
Spike: �Damn girl you good how�d you get those two here so fast?�
Illyria cocks her head to the vampires.
Illyria: �They were nothing to me. Mere bugs I pick out of the trash.�
Illyria turns completely around, to face the stairs, and cocks her head.
We see willow coming down the stairs in a white robe; you can see the majik flowing off of her.
Illyria: �I never have seen a being with that much majik.�
Spike grab Illyrias� arm.
Spike: �I think that�s our cue to leave.�
Illyria heads out to the garden and spike heads down the stairs to the basement. Willow hands Connor and Faith a piece of paper.
Willow: �When I say so, read this.�
Connor starts to say something but then stops and just nods.
Willow shuts her eyes and starts the chant; her hair starts to turn a grayish color.
Willow: �Now!!�
Connor and Faith read the paper. Willow chants some more. We see the vamps turn to dust and the dust swirls around the box. There is a flash of blue light knocking both Faith and Connor on to the floor. Willow collapses were she stands, her hair is back to being red again. Faith sees Willow fall and runs over to her.
Faith: �Willow!!�
Willow smiles softly at Faith.
Willow: �That was nifty.�
Connor stands back up and walks towards the box.
Connor: �Angel?�
Fade out to black
End of Act3
LOBBY, DAY
We open just were we left off Connor standing next to the box, Faith holding Willow on the floor. And Spike and Illyria are nowhere to be seen.
Connor: �Angel?�
There�s a growl from the box ad suddenly a snap at the bars. Connor jumps back and Faith looks up. Connor knows something is wrong
Connor: �Damn it!! SPIKE!! Illyria!!!�
Spike comes running up the stairs and Illyria comes walking through the garden doors.
Spike: �What wrong?!?!�
We hear another growl and a bang come from the box.
Spike: �Bloody hell, we need to get him to the cage downstairs, now.�
Connor: �Why what�s wrong?�
Illyria: �That being is soulless.�
Connors slowly back away knowing that cause he is part demon is what caused this. Faith helps Willow up and into a chair. She then walks over to the weapon cabinet and pulls out the tranquilizer gun.
Faith: �Wow, talk about De-ja-vu.�
Faith aims the gun at the box and shoots. We hear a load thud. Spike walks to the front and opens it. He takes a step back and then heads in; he comes back out dragging an unconscious Angel.
Spike: �I guess it worked.�
Willow sits up in the chair and looks at Angel.
Willow: �Damn, what went wrong?�
Spike drags Angel down stairs to the cage.
Illyria: �He is still a vampire but he lacks a soul. He must be destroyed.�
Willow: �Whoa there, Illyria, there are a few things I could try to bring the soul back. I�ve re-ensouled him twice before, but lets do it after I get some rest I can barely stand.�
As to prove her point she tries to stand but falls back down.
Faith: �Yeah, ok, I don�t she why not you�ve done more than enough for one day Will. Connor you want to take the first watch?�
Connor: �Yeah, sure�.
Connor heads down stairs and, Faith helps Willow up and leads her up the stairs. Illyria just looks at the box.
PAN DOWNSTAIRS, (DAY)
We see Spike closing the cage door.
Spike: �He should sleep for the rest of the day, Shouldn�t be too hard to watch as long as you don�t dust him again.�
Connor gives spike a look and pulls up a chair. Spike is heading up the stairs when Connor stops him.
Connor: �Hey, will he be ok and all?�
Spike looks back at Connor.
Spike: �To tell the truth I don�t know, we are using a lot of magick to bring him back I don�t know if he will be ok. I�m going to go help Illyria take apart that box so it can�t be used again.�
Spike heads upstairs and Connor faces Angel, who�s asleep in the cage, slowly Connor falls asleep himself.
PAN DOWNSTAIRS (LATER, DAY)
We hear a loud thud coming from upstairs; this wakes Connor up and runs upstairs.
PAN LOBBY
Connor comes running upstairs.
Connor: �What�s wrong?�
We see Illyria go flying across the lobby floor, we see Spike already on the floor. Faith and Willow come running from the upstairs and looks to see a woman standing in the doorway. This is a young woman in a vamp face that looks older than anything we�ve ever seen; it even looks older than an ubervamp. Willow and Faith come running down the stairs, Willow starts a chant but the woman is uninfected by it. Connor and Faith both charge at her but she easily takes care of them. She then waves her hand and sends Willow across the lobby. The woman head down the stairs to an unguarded Angelus. She comes back up carrying him like a child. Illyria rises back to her feet but the woman just chants a spell and sends Illyria across the room again. Spike is coming around to see the woman and the unconscious Angelus going out into the daylight with out bursting into flames.
Spike: �That can not be a good thing.�
