Everyone has things they value. Whether it is family, significant others, friends, your job, money, or something else, everyone values something. For most people, what they value the most are the loved ones in their lives. For me there are three main things that I doubt that I could function the same without and, therefore, they are valued a great deal.
My family I would be what I value the most. Since my dad is in the military, our family has had to move a great deal over the past twenty years. This relocating all the time only brings us closer and closer together because we know that we will always have each other to count on being there. Most families cannot say this, and I am glad things have been the way they have. I have been blessed to have a family like I have.
Friends are another one of the things that I value a great deal. Those special friendships that have, more than once in the past, carried from place to place when we move, are the most dear to me. There are also those friendships that I have established here in Virginia. Jeremy, Dave, and Steve are my three friends that would wake up in the middle of the night to so that I could have someone to talk to if something goes wrong. Those types of friendships are extremely important.
Lastly my girlfriend, Amanda, would be someone I truly hold dear to me. Our relationship started with us having a really good friendship, and that is what it has been based on ever since. She has indeed been my best friend, and if all goes well with us in the future she will be my lifelong companion as well.
Those three things are what I value the most in my life and can safely say that many other people believe the same as me. If you dont have people or things you value in your life, then your life would not seem as fulfilling.
