Sgt. Geoffrey NicholsonStanding 5'9" and weighing about 150 lbs, Ulster joined the Mobile Assault Force's 2nd Terrestrial Division (under Kishiria Zabi) and intially served as an HLV (Heavy Lift Vehicle) pilot out of the Capetown Lift Base, and became a transport pilot when that facility needed a pilot to take some supplies to one of the forward bases unescorted.
An average pilot both on the ground and in space, his capability to land under-fire got him the promoted to sergeant for bravery, and he was made the head combat-insertion pilot for small- to medium-size transports. While he dreams of piloting Zaku mobile suits, at this time a Gau is his next goal. A native of Side 3 and a fervent believer in Zeon Daikun's ideals of Spacenoid freedom and the Newtype Phenomenon, Ulster joined the Army at 18 to prove Herr Daikun right. Being a Second-generation spacenoid, he has the potential to be a Newtype himself, but it has not manifested itself yet. Also a fan of the Open Source movement, his personal mascot is "Tux the Penguin", which is displayed on the nose of his transport plane's personnel pod.
Still not dissolusioned with the Zabi family or their lack of leadership, he continues to fight for the Glory of Zeon....When not not on a sortie with Leonhart's Grenadiers, he is assisted by various radio-vectored squadrons of Dopps, Gattles and occasionally a Gau that happens to be in the area. His transport plane is unarmed, but he packs a combat-shotgun and a 9mm pistol for self protection in the event he survives being shotdown (the fear of all transport pilots).
This character, his equipment and the mobile suits of his comrades are all based upon the Universal Century (UC) storyline.
