Tux the Penguin, Larry Ewing Principality of Zeon Techie's Mobile Suits

Greetings traveler, to the Hangar where Gilbert Gustavson (a.k.a. "Techie") parks his Mobile Suit forces. He has one Zaku II and one lightly modified Gelgoog Fs.


Both an ex-member of the Principality of Zeon's Mobile Attack Force (MSgt) and Preventers (LCpl), Techie has some significant training behind him, but prefers to teach others the finer arts of combat rather than duke it out in the trenches.

When offensive combat proves disadvantageous, he is assisted by a semi-trailer or small cargo vessel which holds many different MS-usable weapons such as Chain Mines, Heat Sabers, HeatHawks, Bazookas, MS Shotguns and extra E-caps for beam rifles and beam sabers.

All these suits are from the Universal Century (UC) storyline, and the suits he uses are the UC equivalent of a Leo and a Piloted Virgo I.

The High Mobility variant of the venerable Zaku II line has extra thrusters to give it the mobility, but still lacks the reactor output to sport beam weapons.

Geloog MS 14-Fs

As a custom modification, this suit sports a pair of Dom legs so it can hover as a Dom (MS-09).
The Marine (Commander) variant of the 'RX-78-2'-equivalent Gelgoog mobile suit has more thrusters than the YMS-14 along with a higher-output reactor, allowing it to sport a burst fire-capable 'beam assult rifle'.
