Ruthenium Polymers

The application of Ruthenium Polymers and the addition of Imaging scanners and an onboard computer allows vehicles/persons coated in Ruthenium to mask themselves with a real-time chamelon-like camoflauge. However the refresh-rate of the scanners is insufficient to camoflauge items moving any faster than a brisk walk. When objects being masked in this fashion move faster than that, video artifacts and other errors crop up in the system and the object becomes more visible the faster it moves. Ruthenium can also be used to make a single pattern, which does not suffer from the motion-induced errors. Note that Ruthenium does not prevent Radar/Ultrasound or Astral detection, it is entirely a visual-effect.

Photovoltaic Cammoflauge Paint

This paint allows the user to change the coloration of the surface on the fly, via computer, but does not allow a "Chameleon Effect", but does allow moving colors. PV Cammo is incompatable with Radar Absorbing Materials because of the application method requiring a wire mesh to be lain over the object's surface.
