1968 High Country Special

A wonderful car.  60's yellow with black vinyl top, beige interior, 289 2-barrel V-8, automatic transmission.

Partial/earlier restoration, in good condition.  Small amount of rust around rear wheel wells.  Overall, probably in Class 3 condition, a 20-footer.

Has been stored since 1991 - ran fine and regularly used prior to being garaged.  Now sits on flat tires, which will probably need to be replaced, and would not turn over with a simple jump (nothing more attempted).  No apparent fluid leaks during this time.

The genuine deal, confirmed by a Marti report.  Previously owned by Bob Teets of the HCS Registry (his wife agrees with me that of our respective cars, this one generates the most attention!).

Could not take this beauty with me when I moved to the big city, and was saving it for casual enjoyment at some unknown time in the future, but life changes things in unexpected ways.

One of only 251 produced.  An excellent opportunity to own a true rarity.

Marti Report

Sold and shown in "as is" condition; with flat tires, unable to pull out and clean up, or drive.  Pictures show
the dust - and the rust.  The black top is black, the faded look is just dust.  The small amount of rust around
the rear wheel well is readily apparent in the picture, the other side is similar.  No other known rust issues.
