Indeed, many of the Covenant of the Dawn's own intelligence agents are part of the Prometheus network and are unaware of it. Prometheus, irregardless of what it is, is a fairly new phenomenon. It apparently is responsible for a great deal of the Covenant's espionage and communication hacking. This had led many to belive that it is an advanced AI system developed by top military minds in the Covenant. Though apparently not tackling projects quite as hefty as Maverick (Pheonix Honorguard) and certainly not as experienced as Cyborg (White Ferret Commandos), Prometheus can boast that it has never been the subject of hacking, has always acquired sought after information, and has proven flawless in its young career. |
