Sean's Flashlight Site

Streamlight Scorpion:

This flashlight is an inexpensive alternative to Surefire flashlights (except the G2) & is just about as bright!
The Scorpion has spot-to-flood focusing so it can be used as a utility light as well as a tactical light.
It uses 2 CR123A batteries and burns for about 1 hour.  Bulb life is about 5 hours.
Luckily, It comes with a spare bulb securely encased in the LA (lamp assembly).

The Scorpion is very compact, it is only slightly larger than the E2.
It has a momentary tailcap and push button on/off switch as well as a rubberized body for a non-slip grip.

This is how the M2 with P61 (120 lumens) compares to the Streamlight Scorpion set its tightest focus.
The Scorpion is brighter than the Surefire E2 and about equally as bright as the M2 with P60 LA (65 lumens).
