The
Mag-Lite rechargeable flashlight is the same size as the Mag-Lite 3D
cell flashlight
but uses a rechargeable 5-Cell Ni-Cad battery pack
that is suppose to give up to 2 hours
of light per charge and 500
battery cycles total. Brightness is claimed to be 40,000
peak
beam candlepower (PBC) using a Halogen lamp and beam shape is
adjustable.
Car
and home chargers are available with quick release mounts, so you can
move the charger were
you need it. This light carries a
limited lifetime warranty and is individually serial numbered.
The
Mag-Lite rechargeable has a 3 position switch for on, off and
momentary operation.
Their is an extra lamp in the tail end (under
the spring) and the lens is tempered glass.
The body is HA-III
(Type III hard anodized) inside and out. The two silver rings
make
contact with the charging cradle. Since the rings go
all the way around the light, it can
be placed in the charger in
any position.
