Led Zeppelin is considered by many as one of the most important bands in, "hard rock" history, and rightfully so.
Zeppelin's first two albums were very, experimental, for the era, a sound closer to Black Sabbath. There third album would be extremly different. Guitarist, Jimmy Page, decided to go for a "blues" sound, thinking that they would have more sucesse, wich wasn't the case. The band went back in the studio to make there fourth album, Page being a stuborn man, refuse to go back to the style found in the first 2 albums. So the band decided to create a new sound, by mixing the "blues" sound with there old sound. this new sound would become a masterpiece.
this fourth album wich was untitled, would include many hits, that would mark music history, incluiding the legendary song, "Stairway to Heaven." The song made Zeppelin become known and give them the reputation they have today.
The abnd would eventually call it quits, but the singer, Robert Plant, would do a few albums with, Page, this project was called the, Page and Plant band.
Stairway to heaven is still considered a masterpiece today. Zeppelin is and will be remembered for many decades to come.
