Those words would lead to the creation of the band who started it all, BLACK SABBATH. Singer of the band, Ozzy Osbourne had an image, he wanted to make music to scare people, wich he did accomplish. His topics, such as satanism and drug use, mixed with a new sound of music created by Tony Iommi, would hit the spot and create lots of shocks, many commin from the religious communities.
Sabbath would not exist for long, many conflicts within the badn would lead Osbourne to leave and create his own band, wich had a good response. Osbourne keept his traditionnal taughts of creating music to "scare" people. Osbourne is considered by many as the grand-father of "Metal" music.
Many many bands found today were influence by Sabbath, wether it be the guitar style, the ideologies of Osbourne, Sabbath will of marked music history by creating a sound that would live for over 3 decades and continue having a steady fan base, unlike most styles of music found in the past 30 years.
Black Sabbath would come back in 1999 and do a reunion tour, deeply appreciated by fans. Sabbath have decided to go back on stage this upcomming summer, on Osbournes, now traditionnal tour, OZZFEST.
