When I think about the day you walked out, A feeling of sadness rushes through me, like nothing I've ever felt before. Everyone says I should let you go, let you be.
It's over between us...no going back Yet, somehow, things between us are wrong. We were never supposed to be like this. We weren't supposed to part this long.
Hateful words were not meant to be said. It's too late for apologies--just regret. How am I supposed to sleep, knowing you're trying to forget?
I hurt you one too many times. Not once was it intentional. I took advantage of your love, and now I'm left with words unspoken.
I want to tell you how I feel, to explain exactly where it fell apart. You wont give me the time of day. I guess I'm not even going to start.
It's time to say goodbye. Is this the only way? I wish I could tell you I'm sorry, wish I could bid you farewell and hope to see you soon. Instead, I'll hold these tears just wishing you knew... how I feel. |
