I prayed to God one evening On a starry, starry night To give my life a new meaning And help me think right... God indeed listens He touched my heart & told "Here is a gift from heaven, better than any myrre, frakencense or gold." He sent down an angel To guide me on my way An angel who loves me dearly Each and everyday He flies me with hiw white, feather wings and shows me the bright blue skies he lets me sit on the clouds and watch other angels fly by... My life has indeed changed Since my angel came along He showed me what life is about And how sometimes things can go wrong He speaks without a single word Through those dark, brown eyes He showed the true angel he is When I look at him.. i sigh... He completes the person in me Showed me that life isn't easy He carries me over my misery And open my eyes to see I prayed again one evening To thank the Lord above For the gift he gave from heaven My angel... my you... my beloved. |
