| Generation X started in the good old US of A after the 80's. It was an awakening of a generation from slackers to well known buisnessmen the people who made a name for themselves who were once the geeks and couch potatos of the society. Gen X in the phil. was so hyped up it killed the idea. Everyone joinned the ban wagon saying it was about age groups. Well I would belive its all about the attitude not the age group. Come on wake up and smell the coffee its not true everyone belongs to this radical minded sucessful group of individuals. Generation Generic started when everyone thought they were all so f@*Kin cool. Who the hell told the press that? They all dress the same, they all act the same and frankly they all enjoy the same things. Its the pop culture in its worst. Its lack of creativity and individuallity. Frankly the phillipnes has been a home to a culture i would say LOSERS follow. Its not just pathetic this time its sickening. What ever happend to individuality? Everyone is so fad crazy about things everyone needs to belong. a society which gives more importance to iestetic needs instead of necessity. Aside from that the decline in the youth's IQ is quite degrading. I guess they even don't just act the same and dress the same they also think the same. Its depressing really. But all i can do is laugh knowing society accepts such behaviour. The god they worship and the fads they follow. I feel sorry that they are all so simple minded. A mind is a terrible thing to waste. Yet you see a society who's aims not only make that possible it even encourages it. I guess its true that man fell out of favor of GOD the day he forgot to think. and in today's pinoy society thats as true as it gets. Individuality and the ability to think were killed by the god they adore. Sadly the media has never seen themselves as the god to these lost twisted little souls. It never occured to anyone that everyone has been making media a god in its own right. I can't say i expected anyone to concive such a radical idea after all they are just puppets to thier masters. And each and everyone of us server a master some may consider money thier god others maybe sex and it goes on and on and on. We are all puppets of motivation puppets of self gain brought about by this self centered selfish society. A society built on false morals and pretentious leaders. And to think the youth were bad the elders have also been way wrong beliving the old ways are still exsisting and leading the youth to thier eternal demise. Todays youth lacks depth, soul and emotion none of these things are hardly given much attention cause everyone is to preoccuppied serving thier false gods. Its a pitty that individuals are branded in society today. Thus making the norm in control of everything if they could only see how the norm,society and media are killing individuallity, personallity,emotion and social conciousness. Then i guess everyone can be more productive individuals like the generation X phenomena that the US is now enjoying. All in all i just hope we all have a deep big look at ourselves ask ourselves are we one with the GENERIC GENERATION of lossers or are we all going to make something of ourselves and be individuals that stand out not blend in the crowd. The future has only a place for those who are strong and not the weak. And it takes radical ideas, social awareness,personalitty,and individuallity to achive such goals not clothes , porma and yabang. We all could learn a lot by not imitating one another after all it is pathetic! |
