One of Rahne's favorite games is playing 'fetch' with a frisbee, ball, or anything else you'll throw for her "I smell overacheiver issues." Of all the mutants at Xavier's Institute, Rahne is perhaps the most affected by her powers even when she is not useing them. With the ability to morph into a wolf, she has developed many of the same personality traits as her lupine counterparts. She is fearless, sometimes to the extent of being reckless, as well as extremely territorial. So don't borrow her cd player without asking. Rahne is also extremely protective of her 'pack,' and doesn't wish to exclude any member of that pack. This is perhaps why she of all the New Mutants is more willing to remember to include Jamie in their activities. While Rahne is in her wolf form, she essentially has all the skills of a one, including enhanced senses and heightened awarness. She can also halt the transformation anywhere inbetween, giving her an almost werewolf apperance. Rahne's mutation has nothing to do with the moon however, and her code name is actually a plant used to supposidly vanquish werewolves. After the Institute was destroyed, Rahne's parents felt it best to call her home where they felt she would be safer. Hopefully some day, she will return. |
