Roberto's a little bit of a flirt and a show off Like many of the new mutants, little is known about Roberto's past. We know that he comes from Brazil, but that's about it. He's very good at soccer, and seems to be somewhat of a gymnist as well. Roberto is very athletic and loves to push himself, always trying to go that extra mile. This sometimes can get on his fellow mutant's nerves, it's not easy having an overachiever in your midst. Sunspot get's his mutant powers by absorbing the rays of the sun and converting it into energy. When 'powered up' Roberto can leap higher, run faster, and lift more than would normally be possible. He also takes on the apperance of a 'sun demon', with the energy of the sun radiating around him. |
