Rouge sometimes not only absorbs the memories of the people she touches, but their personalities as well "My power is your power, and I can take more than one!" If you look like a goth, you're brodcasting to the world that you're trouble, and to stay away, and that's just what Rogue wants you to do. Gifted, or cursed as Rogue see's it, with the power to absorb mutant's powers and memories with just a touch, Rogue is an extrememly dangerous mutant. However, this 'danger' is only a teenager, who wants to be loved and held just like anyone else, but she can't, one touch from her and you're out like a light. This has led Rogue to be reclusive, sarcastic, cold, and down right rude at times. She constantly hides behind her thick makeup and dark clothes, afraid to get too near to anyone, physically and emotionally. However, after leaving the Brotherhood to join the X-men, Rouge has opened up a lot, disspite many pitfalls and heart brakes along the way. Sadly most of these seem to involve her adoptive mother, Mystique. |
