| Name: Raven Darkholme Codename: Mystique Age: Unknown (presumably mid to late thirties) Powers: Shapeshifting Family: Kurt Wagner (Son), Rouge (adopted daughter) I.F. Even though Mystique can assume the voice and physical apperance of someone, she cannot copy their powers "You X-men are nothing but puppets for Charles Xavier, and I am a sharp blade, cutting your strings just so I can watch-You-Fall!" Mystique is cunning and manipulative at best, and devious at her worst. This shape shifting mutant can take any form she wishes, and uses this to get her close to her targets. Her main goals seem to be to take out the x-men and to get her revenge on Magneto. For a time, Mystique posed as the principal at Bayville High, in order to keep an eye on her enemies. She also assembled the Brotherhood in an attempt to create a mutant fighting force of her own. For a time she worked for Magneto, though her loyalty was flimsy at best. Kurt and Rouge are both Mystique's children, Nightcrawler her biological son, and Rouge her adoptive daughter. Both children took the news that their foe was in fact their mother, very hard, Rouge especially. Kurt tried to forgive his Raven, but in the end both he and Rouge had been deceived and used to many times by Mystique for there to be any reconciliation. |
