| Name: Eric Magnus Lensheer Codename: Magneto Age: Over Sixty Power: Magnetic Manipulation Family: Pietro Maximoff (Son), Wanda Maximoff (Daughter) I.F. Magneto's helmet prevents psi attacks from affecting him "We are the future!" Humans are obsolete, at least in Magneto's mind. They should fear and serve mutants. He believes that humans and mutants cannot live in peace, and thus he must protect mutant kind by making the world safe for them, whatever the cost. He even abandonded his own children because they could not at the time help him achieve his goal. Wanda was placed in an insane assylum and Pietro was shuffled off onto the state. When they finally came into their powers, Magneto re-amerged and ruthless claimed his pawns. Pietro he could govern with fear, but he was forced to alter Wanda's memories in order to stop her obsesive quest for his downfall. Magneto put together teams of mutants in order to obtain his goals. First the inexpierinced and ill-equipped Brotherhood, and later the more ruthless and well trained Acolytes. He used and manuvered both the X-men and the Brotherhood into a fight with the Sentinal that revealed mutants to the world. Magneto is one of the most powerfull mutants in the world, and thus considers himself untouchable. He believes that he can take on any mutant. This pride however lead to his downfall. He chalenged Apocolypse in a fight that only one would come away from. Magneto lost. |
