Amara cannot loose contact with the earth (ie. flying, or out at sea) for long periods of time, or she becomes very ill " Amara, like Roberto, is from South America, and as such is having a little trouble adjusting to life in the United States. High School is also fairly new to her, but she's managing. Interestingly enough, Amara has become very good friends with the Institute's wild child, Tabitha. Dispite their very diffrent personalitites, the two have become very close, even though some believe Tabby is a bad influence on her. Over all, Amara is just a very nice person, with a sweet disposition and fairly reserved temperment. However in Tabitha's company she can be coaxed to show her wilder side. Amara's powers are closely linked with the core of the earth, allowing her to have a wide range of abilities. She can form fire balls or emit intense waves of heat and flames. She can also withstand scorching temperatures and control lava or volcanoes. Amara can also take take on a 'human torch' apperance. |
