Next to Bobby, Ray seems to be the 'highest ranking' mutant in the New Recruits, easily taking charge when the mansion was destroyed. " Berzerker is not your everyday, run of the mill x-men, no sire! He's the black sheep as it were, the one that doesn't really fit with the others. His temper is extreme, and he'll take offense at any little thing. Ray also has a stubborn streak that won't allow him to back down from a challagne. Disspite all this, he still manages in the X-mansion fairly well, though I can assume that people tred carefully around him when he's in a bad mood, especially considering his powers. Ray is essentially a human superconductor, and can genorate and absorb huge amounts of electricity. He even survived getting struck by a lightning bolt. The down side to Ray's powers? If he gets wet while using them, he'll 'short out' and then pass out. Other than the obvious offensive ablications of his powers, Ray also manages to use them for day to day activities. Everything from powering Amara's hairdryer on the go, to re-charging the batteries in his laptop. Little is known about Ray's past, though he obviously had some ties to the Morlocks. Perhaps he was even one of them for a time, but no one knows for sure. Whatever the connection, there seems to be some bad blood between them now |
