Lance Alvers is known for bad puns, groundshaking abilities, and a temper that will hit a ten on the rictor scale. In foster care, Lance used to attend the same school as Kitty Pryde. When her mutant abilities surfaced, Lance took advantage of them to break into the school's office. When Jean and Kitty's parents confronted them, Lance tried to convince Kitty to stay with him, but she refused. He exploded, bringing down the hous, literally! After leaveling half his school, Lance was recruted into the Brotherhood, as its teen leader. While a trouble maker and a delinquent, Lance does have a good heart. Unfourtunately he rarely thinks things through and acts solely on his emotions. Eventually he developed a chrush on Kitty, becoming extrememly protective of her. However, their relationship has been anything but smooth. Lance's powers are extremely strong, and their limits are unknown. Overuse of his powers however, give him splitting headaches that limit the time and strength of quakes he can create. These headaches can also be partially blamed for his short-temperdness. |
