So you liked Final Fantasy X and you're wondering if Final Fantasy X-2 measures up to it, well not really, but it's still a pretty damn good RPG. The thing that I think is improved from the first one is the addicting new battle system you'll actually start wanting to get into random battles to learn new techniques and level up. The battle system goes back to its active time battle roots and is the fastest paced system in a Final Fantasy game yet. Another improvement is more freedom FFX-2 is certainly not linear like its preddesesor. This time you get to take on side missions and scenes that are completely optional or you can go straight to the missions that advance the story. Final Fantasy X-2 also does something a Final Fantasy game hasn't done for quite a while and that is its six multiple endings. Be aware however to acheive the perfect ending of the game you will have to get 100% in the game that means doing all of the side missions and watching all the scenes the game has to offer which is not an easy thing. The graphics are another improvements. What keeps Final Fantasy X above it though is its superior story and more charactors .You could probably finish FFX-2 in about 20-25 hours your first go around , but getting 100% could take a while longer. The only bad thing about this game is that it only has three playable charactors and that it ends too early. If you're an RPG fan and have a PS2 and played the first one pick it up if you haven't played the first one pick em both up.
