The only document that was available for information on my mother's paternal grandmother's family is the Baptism record here in the United States of her 2nd son Francis. The spelling of his last name is not the same as that of my grandfather.We are unsure - but believe that the spelling on Francis' paper is the correct spelling of her last name. My grandfather grew up with the spelling at the top of the page. I am trying to find out which one is correct through the telephone directory on the internet for the Ukraine.
