Below
are a couple of pictures of my paternal grandfather, Martino Pepe. We
have many family stories and pieces of information that could be of help if
you thought you might be a relative -- we are also pretty sure that there are
cousins still living in the Teramo area of Abruzzi.
Last
but not least, we still have my Dad's older sister, Aunt Isabel
who is still very sharp at 86!
Here
are a couple of pictures of Martino at different ages.
In the
first one, he was in his early 60's & in the second one, in his late 80's.

He was with us until he was 91.
The only document that I have available for information on my Grandfather, Martino Pepe is his Naturalization Paper.
I recently obtained a copy of his birth record from Italy though & will be adding that to the web site as soon as I get the time.
I do have a copy of my father, Antonio Pepe's birth record (shown below also) that we obtained from Teramo, through a cousin, in 1977 when he was 62 and was thinking about retiring.
Martino's Naturalization Certificate has my father's year of birth as 1917
instead of the correct year of 1916 & he would not have been able to collect
Social Security for an additional year if he could not establish his real birth date.
