Foot-Eye Coordination:  Using Small Balls

Please complete the following homework activities over a 3-day period.  You will need a small, soft ball to complete the activities (tennis ball, Nerf ball, hacky sack – if you do not have one of these, you may use a bigger ball like a soccer ball or kick ball.  When completed, place an X or R in the correct box under each day.

****REMEMBER:  If you are completing these activities in your house and your ball is not very soft, be careful of how hard you kick the ball—use soft and gentle motions so nothing gets broken and no one gets hurt!

  1. Stand with your back towards a wall.  Take 2-3 giant steps forward and turn around.  With your ball, practice kicking it to the wall with the different parts of your feet (inside of your feet, outside of each foot, toes of each foot, heel of each foot, and front of each foot.)
