Hand-Eye Coordination:  Using Scarves

 

Please complete the following homework activities over a 3-day period.  You will need a scarf to practice these skills (if you do not have a scarf, try using a rag, small towel, washcloth, or handkerchief).  When completed, place an X or R in the correct box under each day.

  1. Hold the scarf in your favorite hand.  Each time you toss the scarf, try catching it on a different body part:  head, knee, back, foot, back of hand, tummy.

  1. Toss the scarf into the air and wait as long as you can to catch it before it hits the floor.  First toss it with your right hand; now try your left hand.
