Foot-Eye Coordination: Partner Passing and Goal Kicking
Please complete the
following activities for our next class.
We would like you to use a soft ball for the activities (Nerf ball,
Gator ball, or some type of squishy ball) – if you do not have a ball that is
soft, you may use a soccer ball or kick ball. (PLEASE REMEMBER TO BE CAREFUL
WHEN KICKING THE BALLS!!) When completed,
place a J in the correct box under each day.
1. With a partner, practice kicking the ball
back and forth to each other using the different parts of each foot including
inside, outside, toe, heel, and top or front.
When the ball is kicked to you, trap it with your foot to stop it from
moving. Try kicking and trapping the
ball 10 times back and forth to each other.

2. Using 2 chairs, set up a goal area to kick through
that is wide enough to practice.
Practice kicking the ball through the goal as if you were on the U.S.
Olympic Soccer Team. Try making 10 goals
in a row with your right foot and 10 goals in a row with your left foot. Next, move the chairs closer together for
more challenge! See how many goals in a
row you can make using both feet—Good Luck!!!
