| DREW- Originally from Tampa, Florida. Graduated in 1980 from T.R. Robinson Highschool. Joined the Army in 1981 and attended basic training at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO. | BARBARA- Born at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. She lived in West Virginia while her father served three tours in Vietnam with the Army. During his career they moved to Ft. Wainwright, AK, Ft. Bening, GA and finally Ft. Jackson, SC. Barbara graduated Highschool in Columbia SC at Richland Northeast Highschool in 1983 | ||||||||||||||||||||
| Barbara and I met in Columbia, SC while I was stationed at Ft. Jackson, SC in 1982. We dated for a year and were married in January 1983 prior to my first overseas tour to Korea. We have three sons Richard (23 yrs old), Oliver (18 yrs old) and Christopher (17 yrs). Oliver is currently serving in the US Navy. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| Hobbies & Interests | ||||||||||||||||||||
| Most of our interests and hobbies we share together although to varying degrees. Some of them we just tolerate each others obsessions. When we were dating one of the first gifts I gave Barbara was a little stuffed Teddy Bear which somehow began a trend of us giving each other gifts over the years with Teddy Bears on them etc.. Our kitchen is full of Teddy Bears including a lighted cabinet that holds most of our collection of figurines. We have some smaller collections of other nic nacs that we like dragons, gargoyles, Breyer horses. We also have an interest in different spiritual beliefs and have our own library of books on different subjects ranging from Celtic Myths, Druids, Paganism, Witchcraft, American Indian art and religion etc.. Barbara likes to cross stitch and do other crafts. She reads a great deal and constantly amazes me with the things she knows (Great Trivial Pursuit partner!) Barbara isn't into the geocaching and hiking as much as I am, but she does go out with me from time to time. I also like fishing, woodworking, arts and craft projects, drawing and painting. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| Our Pets | ||||||||||||||||||||
| Right now we have four cats. We started out with two that were ours and rescued a stray kitten that was living under our neighbors shed. The fourth was our oldest sons which we adopted. We have three dogs my baby and gentle giant Buster is an Anatolian Shepard and Great Perenese mix. He weighs over a hundred pounds, but thinks he's a lap dog. Our other dog Nilla we got from the pound as a puppy and she's some kind of terrier mix. The third dog is a little chihuahua that someone dropped off at my best friends house in the country. (She is only here till we can find her a good home.
